2016 Year in Review

In 2016 we were just figuring out that it was possible for two women with a passion for community to bring people together just by creating opportunities.

We found 2 opportunities to bring neighbors together to discuss topics of the day.

  • Black Perspectives
  • Holidays – Not Quite Norman Rockwell

After the killing of Philando Castile, we wanted to help our community learn more about racism. To do that we hosted this 3 part film series and discussion.

We created a community volunteer fair where 25 organizations came to talk about the volunteer opportunities they offer.
