Year-end Teacher Classroom Clean-up (June 2024)
We had a great day at CPE yesterday helping teachers clean up their classrooms for the end of the year! Sorting, cleaning, re-setting tools, even washing clothes from the lost and found. There was lots to do! Thank you to all the volunteers from the community and the AVID students from RAHS!
Spring Grounds Clean-up (May 2024)
In May, adult volunteers joined together with members of the CPE Student Council to clean-up the grounds of the school. Teams competed to see who could collect the most trash or pull the most weeds!
Writing cards of support (April 2024)
We had our first event for CPE in April when a group of us got together with notecards and markers and lots and lots of stickers! We made personalized cards for 220 students from 3-6 grade that they received the morning they began state testing. We completed our first project for Friends of Central Park Elementary! On Monday, a group of us met at the library with stickers and markers and wrote out personalized cards of encouragement for 220 3rd-6th graders who will be taking state tests shortly.
It was fun for Baby Boomers including: Lynn, Connie, Kate, Kathy, Joan, Kim and Mary – to write out cards for Gen Alpha kids including – Shukri, Cayda, Pratik, Hangsa, Romisha, Taizo, Keyontae, & George.
