We sincerely thank the panelists for their willingness to make themselves available for these programs. It takes a special kind of courage to be open and vulnerable to answer questions about their lives. We owe each of them our utmost respect.
Nyia Harris is a truly special woman. She began the series thinking it would be a one-time event, but with her enthusiasm and charm, she has now created this bi-monthly series which is no small feat! She inspires people to trust her and be willing to share their stories.
This series would not be possible without funding and space and publicity provided by the Ramsey County Library. Special thanks to our champion, Carol Jackson, for all her work to make this possible!
We are also pleased that CTV North Suburbs will film the series so it will be available for viewing for those who cannot attend.
